About Tom:
Tom Sowders has been teaching yoga since 2018 in Vinyasa, Hatha, and Yin styles. For Tom, yoga is about bringing full awareness to the body and the moment. The meditative flow of yoga increases strength and flexibility over time, but Tom views—and offers—the challenges of yoga as a pleasure in themselves. Yoga with Tom is one of those rare things in life that are both highly pleasurable and good for you! Tom encourages curiosity, exploration, and attention to oneself in his classes, but the North Star for his entire teaching practice is to facilitate the growth of self-love for his students. Yoga is the active pursuit of happiness. It creates balance that starts on the mat but extends into life's tricky circumstances.
